The ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions will be coming to the Big Event XI. The Kingdom – Matt Taven, TK O’Ryan, and Vinny Marseglia – will be brought in courtesy of Northeast Wrestling.

A head up: RDP Promotions have launched pre-order sales for Kenny and Mikey – The Spirit Squad!
Click here to pre-order tickets. The Big Event XII Pre-Order Page has also been updated.

“Outlaw” Ron Bass will be coming to the Big Event courtesy of Fan City Sports.
Bass is a rare name in the wrestling convention scene and it’ll be great to see him on March 4th.

Another day, another Big Event XII guest announcement!
The Big Event just announced that Cody Rhodes will be brought in courtesy of North East Wrestling. Rhodes, son of Dusty and brother of Goldust, was released from his WWE contract earlier this year and has been making the rounds on the Independent and wrestling convention scenes.
He’s incredibly nice and most definitely worth the meet.

Ring of Honor have announced the participants for their Finale Battle pre-show Meet & Greet. Participants include:
A combo for “singles” wrestlers will run you a more than reasonable $20 while tag team wrestlers will cost $30.
Final Battle is this Saturday, live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Big Event XII is a few months away while Legends of the Ring XIV feels like a life-time away, so I figured I’d cover some more local autograph signings/meet and greet opportunties taking place within the coming months.
Evolve Wrestling is hosting another show from Club LaBoom in Queens, NY, on Saturday December 10th. They are specifically advertising a pre-show meet and greet with Cody Rhodes and Dick Togo.
Togo is a rare name – and legend in the world of Japanese wrestling. He’s a mainstay of Michinoku Pro wrestling, wrestled in ECW’s first ever PPV (Barely Legal), and was briefly in the WWF as a member of the original Kaientai.
This could be your first and only shot at meeting him.
Other notable names booked for the card but not guaranteed to be available for autographs and/or photo ops:
Other names: Tracy Williams, Chris Dickinson, Darby Allin, Jaka, Ethan Page w/The Gate Keepers, Fred Yehi, and Peter Kaasa

RDP Promotions, in conjunction with Warriors of Wrestling, have announced that Kenny Dykstra and Mike Mondo – Kenny and Mikey of the Spirit Squad – have been added to Big Event XII.
The Spirit Squad was a mid-2000 faction composed of these two plus Johnny Jeter (Johnny) and Nicky, who is Smackdown Live’s Dolph Ziggler. Kenny and Mikey have been seen on Smackdown Live in recent weeks and it’s even rumored that Kenny may have been offered a contract to return to the WWE full time.
I think these are two great additions. How about you?

“The Ugandan Giant” is the rare surprise that was supposed to be announced on Wednesday.
Kamala has not done many conventions, so he’s definitely a great addl however, he’s reportedly in poor health, so I’m sure it will be bitter-sweet to see him.
