A Baseball icon – and WWE Hall of Famer – has just been announced for the November 14th Big Event IX convention:
I know Rose was scheduled for the last Big Event but I don’t recall seeing him there. Either way, I’m definitely hoping to catch Charlie Hustle this time around!
So it appears this fall will unofficially be known as the Chyna Tr-State Area tour. It was just announced – literally minutes ago – that “The Ninth Wonder of the World” would be appearing at LOTR XXI. And then the Big Event announced this:
You’ll now have TWO chances to meet Chyna – October 3rd at LOTR XXI and November 14th at Big Event IX. Make sure you do!
So, the Big Even offers a really cool deal. Their admission price is only $10 but, for just $5 more, you can score a free autograph from a pre-determined guest. Terri Runnels was the admission guest back in March and, understandably, her line was quite LONG. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, people LOVE free stuff.
The Big Event IX is shaping up to be quite historic and a can’t miss event. Their latest announcement involves the revelation of who their “Admission Guest” will be:
Cherry was the manager of Deuce and Domino, a tag team that came straight out of the 1950s. Cherry attended a Legends of the Ring convention way back in 2008; I’m unsure if she’s been to a con since. This certainly is a rare signing so, for just $5 more, you get to meet her AND admission into the event. Sounds good to me.

Hey now.
So far, this blog has been devoted to the happenings of the Legends of the Ring fan fest, which is understandable considering the 20th LOTR just happened AND they’ve just announced two of the first “Super Ticket” guests for their October 3rd show.
But I would be remiss to ignore another, equally huge wrestling convention scheduled for November 14, 2015: The Big Event IX! The Big Event convention will always hold a special place in my heart because its 8th installment was the very first wrestling convention I attended and I came away with nothing but great, fond memories.
Several names have been announced and they are HUGE. There is a SIGNIFICANT Four Horsemen presence and rumors are swirling that a possible Four Horsemen photo op may be made available. Also, the guest list is broken by three distinct categories: Featured Guests, Vendor Guests, and Independent Wrestling Talent.
