This from TMART:
Here’s hoping that Nord will one day make it to a convention in the North East!
Wrestlecon has confirmed that the Dragon Gate talent will no longer be appearing at their convention and have released a detailed statement via Twitter:
While this is an unfortunate circumstance, kudos to Wrestlecon for their transparency with their customers. Again, they are doing all that they can and still have a fantastic lineup despite some cancelations.

Let’s do a quick rundown of some important WrestleCon guest cancellations:
Sting was pulled from WrestleCon by the WWE. WrestleCon issues the following statement:
Also:
Fingers crossed! Wrestlecon is doing all they can to make this work and here’s hoping they can pull off a minor miracle.
Ron Simmons was pulled from his Friday WrestleCon appearance, meaning the Nation of Domination photo op is NOT happening. Simmons is still scheduled for Saturday (for now):
Finally, the Dragon Gate guys are now listed as cancelled on their Detailed Schedule:

We are currently awaiting word as to why.
I know cancelations are frustrating but Wrestlecon is still putting out one hell of a lineup and I cannot wait for Friday and Saturday.
Some unfortunate news from the WrestleCon Twitter account:

Some breaking news from WrestleCon:
Ventura just appeared at Big Event XVI.
WrestleCon’s detailed schedule has Ventura’s prices as $60 for an autograph or photo op and $100 for a combo.

With Big Event XVI in the rearview mirror, it’s time to turn our attention towards the annual mecca of professional wrestling conventions: WrestleCon.
WrestleCon is a 2-Day wrestling convention that’s held annually during every WrestleMania weekend. Their website advertises over 200+ guests in attendance (!!!), making it by far the biggest pro wrestling convention to hit the East Coast in quite sometime.
A 2-Day wrestling convention with over 200 guests advertised is…a lot. A lot, a lot, A LOT and, if you’re like me, it can be a bit overwhelming for a first timer.
First and foremost, I advise all of you to follow their invaluable Twitter account. They’re fairly receptive to answering fan questions and will clarify a few grey areas. I realize that some of you may not be on social media (a good thing!) and, even if you are, it’s easy to miss out on a tweet that contains key info.
In Part 1 of the series, I’m aiming to provide a breakdown of WrestleCon: where is it, when is it, admission, and highlight important steps to take before the madness begins. Oh, and I’ll be sure to cover exclusive meet & greet opportunities. Let’s get to it.

RDP has announced a meet & greet tour with current WWE announcer Byron Saxton in mid-April. Here is his itinerary
Georges Cards & Collectibles 10:30am-12:30pm
The Wrestling Universe 3-5pm
Warriors Of Wrestling (W.O.W) 7-9pm

Strand Bookstore, an iconic fixture of New York City, will be hosting an event on April 5th that guarantees customers with a photo op with John Cena for just $18.00
From Strand’s event info:
Admission & Signed Copy grants you admission for one, plus one signed copy of the book.
The event is at the Strand’s buying desk, located on the first floor of our store, at 828 Broadway and 12th Street. Admission and the signed copy will only be available for pick-up at the event, so please select “in store pick-up” as your shipping method. Payment is required at the time the order is placed. You may also purchase admission in the store at the registers.
Tickets can be purchased here. It appears they only have 155 tickets left after selling hundreds of copies a week ago or so.
