- The annual WrestleCon weekend begins Thursday, March 30th in Orlando, Florida
It’s that time of the year again! On April 2, the World Wrestling Entertainment will host its 33rd annual WrestleMania from the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
If you’re heading to Orlando for Mania, there is PLENTY to do during the days leading up to the Granddaddy of them all – and I do mean plenty. If you’re a fan of professional wrestling, WrestleMania weekend is truly a dream come true.
Let’s examine all of the things you can do during WrestleMania Weekend! Since the weekend is absolutely jam-packed, I’m going to split this into two different posts. This post will focus on all of the Thursday and Friday events with Part II focusing on Saturday and Sunday.
Thursday, March 30th:
WrestleCon Kickoff w/Ric Flair, Sting, & Jim Ross
4:00 PM, Wyndham Orlando Resort Palms Room
Kickoff your WrestleMania weekend with a Q&A featuring three icons of professional wrestling: “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Sting, and Jim Ross. This event will not feature a meet and greet – this is strictly a Q&A. This really is an incredible opportunity to hear from three icons and I’m sure plenty of the conversation will center around WCW.
The price for this event is $30 but will increase to $40 day-of.
You can purchase tickets here
Evolve 80
8:00 PM, Orlando Live Events Center
Evolve will host its first show of Mania Weekend with one heck of a card that includes Zack Sabre Jr. defending his Evolve Championship against ACH. You can look at the rest of the card here. As for meet and greet opportunities, Evolve has not advertised anyone in particular although most of their bigger names set-up shop before AND after the show. I would expect Sabre Jr., ACH, Matt Riddle, Ricochet, Ethan Page, Chris Dickinson, & Jason Kincaid to be apart of a pre/post meet & greet. On the flip-side, I’ve never seen Drew Galloway set-up shop.
You can purchase G.A. tickets for this event here.
WrestlePro Live
8:30 PM, Palms Ballroom at the Wyndham Resort
If you can’t make Evolve 80, there’s a WrestlePro Live show that will feature plenty of notable talent such as Ryback, Cody Rhodes, Colt Cabana, and more. They have not announced if a pre-show meet and greet will take place although you can catch most of these names (if not all of them) at WrestleCon.
You can purchase G.A. tickets OR Reserved seating here.
Joey Janela’s Spring Break
11:55 PM, Orlando Live Events Center
This is a rather intriguing event that features Joey Janela vs. Marty Jannetty and Matt Riddle vs. MMA Icon Dan “the Beast” Severn. You can view the rest of the card here – it’s interesting to say the least. As for meet & greet opportunities, nothing has been announced although Severn is a fairly big (and rare) name. Hopefully he’ll be available for autographs and photo ops. If not, he is scheduled for WrestleCon.
Friday, March 31st:
WrestleCon, Day 1
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Hyatt Regency in Orlando, FL
This is what most of you are interested in. A 2-day convention featuring well over 100 wrestlers of the past, present, and future? Sounds like heaven to me.
Friday’s event features an insane amount of wrestlers and you can view the entire Friday guest list here.
WrestleCon is offering pro-photo ops for select guests courtesy of Wolf Studios. Here’s the Friday pro-photo op schedule:
Sting in his red face paint? That’s a pretty frigging rare photo ops, my friends. You might want to invest in that one. You can purchase tickets for those photo ops here.

Progress
12:00 PM, Orlando Live Events Center
One of the more popular promotions from the U.K. is coming to Orlando for WrestleMania weekend and will feature quite a collection of talent – talent that could be WWE-bound very, very soon. While no card has been announced we that PROGRESS World Champion Pete Dunne, Tag Champs Trent Seven & Tyler Bate (the WWE United Kingdom Champion), and Mark Andrews will all be featured. If they are available for a meet & greet, I HIGHLY recommend that you meet them because it is VERY likely they will be WWE bound soon.
You can purchase G.A. tickets
RevPro Live
4:00 PM, Palms Ballroom at the Wyndham Resort
The U.K. Promotion will feature one of the more exciting cards of WrestleMania weekend. Zack Sabre Jr. will take on Penta El Zero M. (f.k.a. Pentago Jr.), Rey Fenix vs. Will Opsreay, and more. No word on pre-show meet and greets although most of the featured talent will be available during WrestleCon.
You can purchase tickets here.
Evolve 82
4:00 PM, Orlando Live Events Center
Also at 4:00 PM is Evolve 82, their 2nd show of WrestleMania Weekend. This card features many of the same wrestlers from their Thursday night show, so it’s an opportunity to see the same set of guys if you miss Thursday’s show.

Chikara: Turn Left
8:00 PM, Orlando Live Events Center
There’s not a ton of information on the event, although you can check out the partial card here and purchase G.A. tickets here
WrestleCon Supershow

The WrestleCon Supershow is always a ton of fun. The main event will feature The Hardy Boyz vs. Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix! You can check out the rest of the card – along with purchasing tickets- by clicking here
