Big Event 16 to hold touching tribute for King Kong Bundy

I am not a listener to the Major Wrestling Figure podcast (though that will change) nor the Not Sam Wrestling podcast (though I have listened to his show with Jim Norton) but, of course, I was interested in their post-show meet & greet. Remembering King Kong Bundy
I recall staring at a bizarre photograph.
Hulk Hogan – clad in his iconic yellow trunks – was about to be whipped into the corner by a gigantic man wearing a crimson mask. They were surrounded by a clunky, blue cage that clashed with the red, white, and blue ring ropes and the black turnbuckles featuring the chunky, gold WWF logo.

Pinkies Up: Meeting Sienna
RDP Promotions brought in former Impact Wrestler Sienna to the Wrestling Universe. Sienna’s a future WWE superstar as far as I’m concerned – she appeared in the last Mae Young Classic – so I really wanted the combo.
I arrived just before 3 PM and spotted a small group of people lined up outside of the Universe (no more than 5-10 people). The real story happened in the barbershop next door. I went in hoping to get a quick haircut but there was only one barber and he was tending to two guys who were nitpicking their haircuts. One guy thought that his beard was uneven and the other guy was asking for all sorts of shape up combinations. I decided to leave because Jenna and I had to head to my uncles.
I enter the Universe and walk right into the backroom where Sienna was seated behind a table. We exchanged hellos as she signed my Bound for Glory 2017 program. She commented that she wished she had this program and that she knew who made them and was going to ask him for one. She came around for the table shot and commented that I was the first person to tower over her this weekend. She was really nice!

It’s been a bit quiet here but that will quickly change as I plan to take an early look at all of the WrestleMania activities scheduled throughout the first week of April and all of the potential meet & greet opportunties that come with it. Stay tuned!
Also, I’ll be headed to the Wrestling Universe on Saturday to meet Sienna from Impact Wrestling with a report posted soon thereafter.
Slew of guests announced for Big Event 16
Several guest have been officially added for the Big Event 16 over the past week or so. Let’s do a quick recap and see who’s slated to meet and greet the fans on March 9th:
Shawn Michaels, Kane added to Monster Mania 42 in Cherry Hill, NJ
Monster-Mania, a popular horror-themed convention, will be hosting their 42nd show in Cherry Hill, NJ – and two WWE legends will be appearing:
Up first is “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels. HBK will be appearing only on Friday, March 8th. Meanwhile…
“The Big Red Machine” – and the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, will be appearing only on Saturday, March 9th.
