The New Year is almost upon us and I am excited for it. 2017 was…okay. A lot to be thankful for, sure, but just a ton of craziness that I can’t wait to put behind.
2017 was undoubtedly a good year, hobby-wise, though. Assembled below is a recap of my year in wrestling autographs:

The Wrestling Universe, located in Francis Lewis Blvd. in Queens, NY, has announced a series of autograph signings for early 2018. Up first:

Former WWE superstar Darren Young has been added to the Big Event XIV lineup. Pre-orders can be purchased here. You can also find pre-orders for Young and other Big Event guests at my Pre-Order Tracking Page.

So the Collector’s Realm is located inside the Dutchess Marketplace, a massive indoor flea market in Fishkill, NY. They sell a ton of wrestling merchandise, mostly action figures from the past and present. Occasionally, they’ll hold a few signings…and they just announced one for January 13th:

$15 for a combo is a steal. I’ll be there and I hope you will be, too! For any updates on this or future signings, give a link to their official Facebook page

Earlier in the evening, I met up with some friends who were attending the show for dinner (went to Black Iron Burger, very good!). None of them were interested in the pre-show meet & greet, so I went on my own. It was snowing and, thankfully, they were letting people in early and I didn’t have to wait outside.

Captain’s Corner is set to bring in another rare name: Juventud Guerrera. The legendary luchadore is best known for his time in ECW, WCW, and WWE (1/3 of the Mexicools).

James Ellsworth will appear at the Big Event XIV — his first major convention following his release from the WWE. Ellsworth was actually scheduled for a previous Big Event – 12? – but was pulled by the WWE.
Breaking from the folks at K&S Wrestlefest:

I’ve been away for a few days – sorry, folks! – but I’m back. It seems like there’s been a few additions to the Big Event XIV lineup, so let’s take a look at who’s coming in:
PLUS…Big Event is teasing a “major guest” announcement in the near future. Stay tuned.
