I’ve decided to pull the Big Event XI Pre-Order page because most pre-orders have ended. I just wanted to thank all of you who reached out to me and offered thanks and praise. I’m glad I was able to help you! I’ll see you this Saturday!

The rumors are true: Harley Race is officially out and Bob Backlund is in for this Saturday’s Big Event XI. Here’s a statement posted on the Big Event Facebook page:

BOB BACKLUND ADDED IN PLACE OF HARLEY RACE

Due to circumstances beyond our control Harley Race will not be able to attend the Current Big Event. We will be hoping that he can make the March 4th one. To make up for this we will be having Hall of Famer Bob Backlund. For those that pre purchased tickets we will be offering a few options.
Tickets can be exchanged evenly for Bob Backlund or Bruno Samartino
Tickets can be exchanged for a signed Harley Race Photo.
Tickets can be saved for March 4th as we hope to have him for that show.
Of course a simple refund can be had as well.

Unfortunate news: Harley Race appears to be OUT for Big Event XI and Bob Backlund appears to be his replacement. Race was removed from the Big Event website and they pulled his pre-orders yesterday evening.

I’ll have more later with hopefully a statement from Big Event re: refunds.

Another cancelation for Big Event XI: Afa, one half of the WWE Hall of Fame tag team The Wild Samoans, will no longer appear. I asked about his availability on Facebook and here was the response from the vendor:

No, unfortunately Afa had to cancel. Snitsky will still be there along side Manu. And for extra excitement, Rikishi will be in the house as well, w rumor of Headshrinker Samu. You just nvr know sometimes!

Also of note: Pre-Orders for Big Event guests Bruno Sammartino, Ryback, and Mark Henry – as well admission tickets –  will end tonight at 9:00 PM EST. *NOTE*: Tickets are no longer available for Harley Race and it’s not known why. Hello all,

Rumors have been flying regarding Lita’s scheduled appearance this Saturday at Big Event XI; unfortantely, we now know that she’s cancelled. I (and anyone else who pre-ordered) received the following email from RGP Productions:

Late last week, RG Promotions learned that WWE’s LITA would be unable to participate in the BIG EVENT XI due to the NXT taping live from Toronto on the same day.   While both RG Promotions and Lita worked very hard up to the last minute to get the proper travel arrangements, ultimately WWE felt it was best to reschedule Lita for BIG EVENT XII on March 4, 2017.

That being said we would not only like to apologize to the fans that have previously purchased tickets to the appearance on November 19^th but we would like to offer ONE of the following options to each of you:

1. YOU MAY KEEP YOUR TICKET FOR LITA AND USE IT ON MARCH 4^TH IN ADDITION YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EXTRA AUTOGRAPH OR PHOTO OP WITH LITA (SINGLE TIX NOW BECOME COMBOS & COMBOS RECEIVE AN EXTRA TICKET)

1. YOU MAY USE YOUR LITA TICKET FOR OUR OTHER GUEST SHELTON BENJAMIN ANDRECEIVE AN EXTRA AUTOGRAPH OR PHOTO OP WITH HIM.  (THOSE WHO PURCHASED A COMBO GET 1 EXTRA ITEM)

1. YOU CAN OBTAIN A COMPLETE REFUND.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRICING FOR LITA AUTOGRAPHS, PHOTO OPS AND COMBOS WILL BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE FOR THE MARCH EVENT AND WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HONOR THE PRIOR PRICING.

We feel these three options are more than fair to the great fans of the Big Event. We certainly appreciate all the support over the years and look forward to more amazing shows in the near future.

One major addition to the Big Event XI lineup was announced yesterday evening: “The Whole F’N Show” Rob. Van. Dam! “Mr. Monday Night” is bringing himself in and will be setting his own prices.

Also, today is the FINAL day to purchase Pre-Order tickets for Big Event XI guests – Bruno Sammartino, Harley Race, Mark Henry, and Ryback – as well as admission tickets. Admission will likely be sold at the door; however, it’s not a guarantee as the show could reach capacity very quickly. Act now! Click Here to purchase tickets.

Some bad news to report: Sunny and Paul Ellering will no longer be appearing at this Saturday’s Big Event XI. Here’s a statement from TMART Promotions:

We have unfortunate news to report about this coming Saturday at The Big Event.
We got word that Paul Ellering will not be able to make it this weekend. He has to be at NXT in Toronto and he tired his best to see if he could still make the big event but things did not work out like we hoped.

Also as many of you know Sunny has still not been heard from and will not be at the event also with us.

If anyone pre ordered Sunny or Ellering expect emails to come over the next two days.
